Conceptualized by chilian artist Merci & Marco, Alameda 2030 is a science fiction experiment created after a social explosion, in a near and uncertain future. Using afro-diasporic music as an engine and inspiration and passing it through a Latin American filter, it is an EP that uses polyrhythms, percussions, techno-rooted synthesizers and samplers. The music imaginary is complemented by the work of visual artist Esteban Fuica, who installs the duo in a hypnotic and different future.

Conceptualizado por el artista chileno Merci & Marco, Alameda 2030 es un experimento de ciencia ficción creado a partir del momento del estallido social, un futuro cercano e incierto. Utilizando como motor e inspiración la música afro diaspórica y pasando por el filtro de la mirada latinoamericana, es un disco que utiliza poliritmias, percusiones, sintetizadores de raíz techno y samplers, teniendo como prioridad mantenernos en movimiento. El imaginario además es complementado por el trabajo del artista visual Esteban Fuica, que nos instala en un futuro hipnótico y diferente para cada track.
